We arrived from abroad after Covid and it was an extremely difficult time to find a good home. Prices had gone crazy during the pandemic; houses and land like we were hoping to buy were in short supply. We were not in present in the area when we first contacted Michael so the first discussions and visits were done by him alone. Michael went out of his way to visit houses for us, it was not an easy task for him as not only were they so few houses on the market, but also we had some points we did not want to compromise on. Michael was extremely patient and always listened to what we had to say or wanted and was extremely professional from day 1 until we finally found our new home. He was always friendly and reachable anytime we needed.We can definitely say that without Michael’s expertise we would not have found our new home and might still be looking for a place to live in.We can warmly recommend Michael to anyone that is looking for a buyer advocate that is not only going to go out of his way to find a home but that will also always be present for any questions or worries its client might have.

We recently purchased a property on the Bellarine with the assistance of The Advocates. Michael was professional and extremely knowledgeable of the local market. He took the stress out of the negotiating process, kept us informed throughout and successfully secured the property at a great price. Michael was easy to deal with and genuinely interested in finding us the perfect property.

Michael is such a gem, he's worth his weight in gold. His knowledge of the area, years in real estate and relationships within the real estate world have been so valuable. Being an interstate buyer made it easy for me to put it all in the too hard basket. It's thanks to Michael that I stopped dreaming and started doing. When I made the trip to the Bellarine, Michael and Sonia spent two days driving me around houses, cafes, wineries, different suburbs and more houses. Michael was always available and ready be the voice of reason when I was unsure of anything or needed a sanity check. He even spoke to neighbours to get a feel for the Street I was interested in. Michael being able to negotiate for me was such a huge benefit. My new house settles next month, Michael will be the first to get an invite to the housewarming and a glass of champagne.
