A buyers agent was a new concept to me and after selling my apartment after 18 years, it was apparent to me that property was not my area of expertise. After a handful of inspections I knew, quickly that other potential buyers had agents looking at the properties I was interested in. Immediately it felt I’d lost a competitive advantage and also it dawned on me I’d have no idea if I overspent or could trust the documentation I was being given. Working with Cameron and Olivier in a full service capacity took away the hours I was spending online (I work full time). Homes we looked at fitted my brief, something we’d workshopped. Porters House draws on a lot of experience and have a highly competent and experienced network, all of whom work together in this case for the best outcome and home at the right price for me. Which we achieved. Olivier is friendly, very good at negotiating and has high emotional intelligence, so important as a buyer goes through the stages of purchasing. Cameron is calm, strategic and very driven in getting the best outcome also. Cameron has acted for my wife and I in the purchase of a property as we downsize from the family home. He worked with us through 4 different opportunities eventually getting us a great deal on brand new apartment. He worked tirelessly to find out details and the backstory on our target properties that we wouldn't have found on our own and when it came to the offer process, knew how much to push and where to settle. We couldn't have done it it without him and I heartily recommend Cameron to anyone looking to buy a property in todays cutthroat market!
