We hired Grant after we sold our home in Sydney with a view to moving up to Newcastle. We had already chatted on the phone and later met up to discuss our requirements in more detail. Immediately Grant impressed us with his approachability and his thorough knowledge of the area. He listened carefully to our admittedly varied wishes for a potential home and then the following week had an intinerary of ten homes (both on and off market) for us to go and see. He personally drove us to all of these viewings during one Saturday morning and afternoon roadtrip, allowing us to chat about the areas we were seeing and get a better understanding of them. This was invaluable. Towards the end of our trip we found a perfect site for a knockdown rebuild (one of our requests) and Grant sprang into action. The home had less than two hours available on the market as a deal had already been struck for it. Grant liased with the real estate agent and then less than two hours later we were signing on the dotted line, with a five day cooling off period to allow us to do our due dilligence. And for a price we considered excellent. This never would have happened without Grant being in the mix. Further to this Grant then helped us with speaking to town planners and builders and a further site inspection. He also helped us find a daycare for our youngest. Which was above and beyond what we had hired him for. You will not regret working with Grant. We certainly don't.

We heard about Grant through word of mouth, and are so glad we followed that recommendation! Grant was a fantastic help when we were buying our new home in Newy from interstate and juggling young kids - from helping us figure out what we needed, narrowing down a list of properties, organising a tightly-packed itinerary of inspections (because we could only fly up for one day), and finally negotiating with the agent through to exchange and settlement. He's down to earth, easy to contact, and gave us a reliable sense-check on properties that looked amazing but wouldn't have been a wise purchase for us. Overall a wonderful experience!
