Highly recommended. A smooth and valuable experience. I would recommend Grant to my friends, my dear old mum - to everyone. We chose Grant Atherton to assess and inspect home properties in Newcastle (while we were intra-state), due to his expertise on the Newcastle market, and how well he presented his services. We went with a gut feeling based on Grant’s interpersonal skills, materials, and straightforward approach. From the off, it was obvious Grant is a very effective and professional buyers agent; well connected and respected by the local real estate agents; knowledgeable on the assessment, buying processes, locations and due diligence. Grant provided us with detailed video walkthroughs, a solid assessment report of key property aspects, value, planning issues and a comprehensive range of useful analysis of risks. Regular comms came through a WhatsApp group, meaning we quickly built trust and rapport, finding Grant to be very responsive to questions, calm and professional. We also had regular video calls to keep informed and moving smoothly forward. Grant negotiated the purchase of our new home providing invaluable advice. He secured us a very reasonable price and moved the Offer through so quickly the deal was done in 48hrs, avoiding the possibility of more interest over the weekend. We always felt Grant was on our side, and applying his considerable experience and balance when it counted most. One house we were interested in, Grant raised a number of red flags, which led to us getting our own building and inspection report. And we’re very glad we did!
