Henny, Anthony and the entire team at OH Property Group were invaluable in helping us secure our first house.Their processes were extremely thorough and we felt confident in their ability to act on behalf of my husband and I in the purchase of our home. It was reassuring to know that we had such wealth of knowledge behind our decisions and through every step of the journey - from searching / looking at open homes and then the final stages. Having such experience to rely on at all times (and all hours!) was so important for us especially as neither of us are in property ourselves.They were able to see and assess things about houses that we wouldn’t have thought about - from sewer lines to lighting to topography to local insights. Their ability to weed out houses that weren’t going to work for us also helped us save time (perfect for an expecting mother!) - we didn’t have to visit open homes that were going to blow our budget or that weren’t suitable. If you're using a buyer's agent, the decision is really about who - and after two purchases with Oliver Stier at OH Property Group (2013 and again this year), the answer for us is straightforward. When we decided to upgrade earlier this year, we did our due diligence and looked at other agents before returning to Oliver. We're glad we did that check as it only confirmed how hard his combination of experience, market knowledge, and measured judgement is to match. We initially engaged him for negotiation only. We missed out on the first property as it went well above fair market value but his read of a shifting Sydney market meant we never felt pressured to compromise. After our home sold, we moved to a full search, and Oliver secured us a quality property against competing buyers. What sets him apart is the quality of his expertise - not just market conditions, but the granular stuff: how individual agents operate, the character of specific streets and pockets within suburbs, and how a property will actually work for your family as it grows. We've referred many friends since 2013. Not one has been anything other than delighted and keen to pass the recommendation on. In a market full of competing interests, having someone genuinely in your corner makes an enormous difference. We wouldn't buy in Sydney any other way.

Henny was truly amazing throughout our hunt for our first ever house. She’s a real professional, subtly taking in and remembering all the quirks of what we’re looking for and figuring out what might fit us and what might not. When it came to the actual negotiation, she did an outstanding job where would’ve fallen apart if left to our own devices. Her confidence exuded to us and I’m sure to the seller as well, and thanks to her always being a step ahead we managed to close the deal. Not only did she help us get our dream house, she also helped us prevent making mistakes along the way: not bidding on the wrong house, not trying to meet in the middle for the wrong price. If you’re looking for a buyers agent, OH Property Group is as good as they get.
