Best year of our lives thanks to Melissa and her KPI team! Despite 2020 been a strange year for everyone, these challenging times have helped us to realize what and who is essential to have around, and for sure one of those things is a good place to live, and another one is people who really want to help others and to make life easier for everyone.It was probably luck what has us rent an apartment managed by KPI because shortly after the leases were signed COVID-19 was in full flight. For my partner and I as young foreign students from Colombia it was extremely hard to keep going in a different country, different language and beginning from zero. Unfortunately we also lost our jobs as soon as the outbreak began which had us feeling vulnerable and scared.Melissa was always one call away to help us in everything we need, always keeping us up to date with general information and mediating between us and the landlords always with the best of intentions to both. I am really impressed on how dedicated she is to her job. It was very important for us as tenants to have somebody like her on our side as we are living in Melbourne alone.When the Government recently opened the rent relief grant to foreigners Melissa called COVID-19 Rent Relief Team unbeknown to us and had them contact us to assist us with the documentation for the $3,000 grant for myself and my partner being $6,000 in total. Words cannot describe how grateful we are. This is a real testament to her character and care of both her tenants and landlords making sure we could cover our rent with ease. Melissa at Keyhole Property Investments has been absolutely amazing throughout the entire leasing process. She has been kind, friendly, professional, and thorough every step of the way. She completed all the necessary checks promptly, kept me informed throughout the entire application process, and made everything as smooth and stress-free as possible. What really stood out was the time she took to get to know everyone who attended the property viewings, making sure they had the opportunity to ask questions and feel comfortable. I started out as a renter managed by Melissa Opie and KPI since 2021. When I received a notice to vacate as the owner wanted to sell, Melissa who I got to know over the years of management took the time to have an open and honest conversation with me about whether buying might be an option as she knew how much I loved the property. I did my homework and decided to engage her as my buyer's advocate which was the best decision I made. Melissa negotiated directly with the selling agent and secured the property below market value. I settled today as the proud owner of a property I already called home. If you want someone who genuinely goes above and beyond and has your best interests at heart, look no further than Melissa Opie. Couldn't recommend her more highly.
