Nicole Jacobs of Cohen Handler helped me find and secure my new home in Daylesford, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Over almost a year, Nicole and I must have met countless times and inspected an extraordinary number of properties. Throughout the process, she was not only an excellent buyer’s agent, but also an enormous source of support. Coming out of a divorce, I knew I was vulnerable to making an emotional decision. In a falling market, it was particularly important not to overpay, and Nicole made absolutely certain that I did not. She taught me a great deal about property negotiations, including how to distinguish genuine competition from pressure created by a vendor, and how important it is to remain disciplined when a property feels emotionally right. In the end, we found the right home in Daylesford and purchased it for almost $500,000 less than the price it had originally been guided at nine months earlier. Nicole remained patient, strategic and completely committed until we achieved the right result. More than anything, Nicole is simply a wonderful human being. She is intelligent, honest, caring and an absolute pleasure to work with. I have enormous affection and respect for her, and I am deeply grateful that she guided me through such an important new chapter of my life
