HELLO FELLOW EAGER INVESTORS! If you have just barely conquered the first step of building a lump sum of savings and are wondering, "What next?" or if you want to climb that first step of the property ladder but have absolutely no clue where to start? If you live in an area that is waaaay out of your budget, if you’re excited about the idea of "rentvesting" but don't know how to execute it, or if you’ve been burned by a bad buyers agent before and are too scared to try again... I can guarantee that Citadel’s Omar and Jadd are your answers. Every single point above applied to us. We were completely clueless about our next steps. Having just moved from New Zealand, we were far too green for the Australian property market. Our current city was way out of our budget, and while we’d heard rentvesting could be a great stepping stone, we had no idea how to actually do it. How do we find the property? How do we negotiate? Where do we find a trustworthy conveyancer or a good property manager? Omar and Jadd came in with the solution and walked us through it step-by-step and I mean baby steps. They took the time to introduce themselves and their business, and dug deep into our goals. I distinctly remember Omar saying, "You can't have plans if you don't have a target or an end point." From there, they tailored a strategy that perfectly aligned with our future. First, they connected us with a phenomenal mortgage broker who answered ALL of our questions. That’s how I need things broken down, and Andrew and Helen of Property Finance Specialists were incredibly patient and amazing at doing exactly that! Then came the property proposals. Because we were so green, we were incredibly picky. Jadd was so understanding; he thoroughly explained the market and showed us that the options they found were perfect for our budget and long-term plans. When our very first offer didn’t land because we were outbid, it didn't feel like a loss. Instead, it proved to us that Jadd and Omar truly know the market. They refused to let us overpay past the prime value of the property. Seeing that level of confidence let us know we were in safe hands. Once our offer was accepted on a property, I thought the hard work was over, but it was just the next hurdle. They immediately organized and found a fantastic conveyancer to work with us. Jadd knew exactly what clauses to put into the contract, ensuring it fully favored us. Even after signing, they didn't just walk away. They sourced multiple property managers for us, and watching them negotiate the management fees was incredibly impressive. They got us the absolute best deal! They are truly with you every single step of the way. It is so clear that they are on your side and that you will be incredibly well taken care of. They are hands-down the best buyers agents you can get and easily the funniest, too! 😊

Citadel is an amazing experience! I cannot express how my time has been with citadel and the life lessons they have taught me. Citadel have allowed me to understand what I am capable of achieving and what doors investing at a young age can offer. Citadel have altered my perspective on property and investing and I cannot thank them enough. Omar and Jadd are amazing at their job , they listen and acknowledge how you may be feeling especially when it can be an overwhelming experience as a first time buyer.
