Bridge to Bricks - Reviews

I am a recent widow who is 76 years young. I wanted to move from an acreage on the Central Coast to an apartment in Sydney to be closer to my family. After looking online and inspecting many places for nearly 6 months I realised the more I looked, the narrower by options became because my requirements were so specific. The real estate agent who sold my place on the Central Coast recommended I should get a Buyer’s Agent and so I looked online, found the REBAA website (Real Estate Buyers Agents Association) and chose Bridge to Bricks because they worked in the areas where I was looking.Basically it was like throwing a dart at a dartboard, and I wouldn’t generally recommend that approach, but I hit a bullseye with Bridge to Bricks and am so very thankful. I had finally found a place I wanted but the owners wanted to take it to auction and I wanted someone who could deal with that process. John Comino was the perfect person and he did so much more. He liaised with the real estate agent, organised the strata report, the building inspection and other reports. He gave me his opinions and expertise and was regularly in touch almost every day. He is a delightful man and so easy to deal with. He built a rapport with the real estate agent that made the process run smoothly.Most importantly, with his knowledge, expertise and deliberate strategies he was able to get the property for me prior to the auction and at a good price. This was not a guaranteed result from the start and I’m sure, left to my own devices, I would not have managed it.I was also confident that if that property fell through, John would have been able to find me another thanks to his knowledge of the market.I can’t recommend John highly enough. He was terrific and I would highly recommend him. 10 out of 10! Peggy Druitt

As a first-time buyer, John was the perfect solution to offer excellent advice and continuous support in the mission to find the perfect home. John's continuous consideration and behind-the-scenes investigating was of the highest and most honest integrity. We quickly formed a trusting bond and I never for a moment questioned his extensive knowledge of the housing market in Sydney which ultimately led to a wonderful home purchase. In addition to this, John went the extra mile and managed to secure the deal while I was on a long haul flight home to Sydney - which was a magic to hear on landing. John is the best specialist I would suggest to assist in this highly competitive Sydney market.

I was sceptical at first, having never used or even considered a Buyers Agent before. I thought it was an American trend that was being forced into Australian culture (even though I’m a fan of the Selling Sunset series on Netflix). My husband pushed the idea on me since we had been trying for almost a year to find a family home but felt like we were going around circles and were finding out about suitable properties right at the last minute without enough time to inspect properly or just missing them completely. The other major hurdles for us were that we had moved 2 hours out of Sydney, towards Newcastle but were very interested in the Hills area. Combined with two very small children, it made travelling and inspecting properties tiring and uninspiring. Now looking back I feel glad that I didn’t reject my husbands suggestion! John took such a short amount of time to find our new home that I still can’t believe it. He was not pushy at all and was very patient and understanding about our concerns. John is the guy to use, he is super professional providing detailed reporting and correspondence along the way. Plus his gentle guiding and of course amazing offer making skills really got us across the terrifying wall of negotiations that we would have gotten stuck on had we done this ourselves. John is clear and very pleasant to work with and super proactive in attending inspections. He provides a truly boutique luxury service when it comes to buying a property, taking an immense weight off the shoulders.
