My husband and I relocated to Sunshine Coast from Cairns, we didn’t know the area well and didn’t know many people in the area, we started the buying process by booking inspections through realestate.com and very quickly found the process to be extremely exhausting and daunting. Trying to remember all the inspection times, and understanding the different suburbs and where everything is located was like a mountain climb, so I decided we should get a buyers agent onboard. I contacted a number of different agents and was quoted up to 3.75%. I decided to read some recommendations on Facebook and reddit and found that Guy from Blue Skys name was repeatedly mentioned. I then decided to give him a ring, immediately I was struck with how genuine he sounded, in the real estate industry, there seems to be a lot of fake “sales person” sort of people, everyone is either trying to screw you over, and get a slice of your money, and the biggest slice they can get, but Guy wasn’t pushy, he wasn’t trying to force his business onto me, or trying to sell me something, he was easy to speak to, Down to earth and had a really in depth knowledge of the area and what was on offer. He also only priced a fraction of what most of the other, faker, buyers agents would price, yet offered the same, if not more of a service than the others. It was such a relief to talk to someone who wasn’t trying to push me into an agreement and push me into using them. After the initial phone call my husband and I decided he was by miles the most genuine sounding agent and therefore chose to go with him. It more than paid off, we are so happy we chose Guy, on the very FIRST day of inspections, he showed us through a few properties but left the best to last. We finished the day at a house that was, in our opinion, up to 300k underpriced. It was BEAUTIFUL, we couldn’t believe our luck. If it weren’t for Guy we wouldn’t have ever known it was even in our price range. So after ONE day, we had found our dream home. From there, Guy made the offering, signing of contract, inspections and conveyancing so much of an easier and quicker process, there was no way we would have been able to secure this property had we not had Guy. We cant recommend him more. If your wondering who to go with, do yourself a massive favour and choose Guy, not only will you save money, but you are in the hands of someone who genuinely wants to find you your dream home and has all the resources to do so. I will definitely use Guy in future. 10/10
