I’m finding it hard to put into words what enlisting the help of Emilio, our Brisbane Buyer’s Agent has done for us, but I will certainly try! We had been on the house hunt for a while; refreshing realestate.com every ten minutes, spending untold hours going to open homes, putting multiple offers in on places, only to lose out on them one by one. It was becoming increasingly disheartening, and we truly felt like we just weren’t going to find our dream home (or even something close to it) no matter how hard we were trying. A real estate agent friend recommended Emilio from Settlr, and from our very first meeting we instantly felt like a weight had been lifted. Emilio’s calming energy and wealth of knowledge turned our feelings of defeat and despair into feelings of excitement and HOPE. We went over properties we loved and had missed out on, what our budget was, our non-negotiables, and the areas we were looking in (I was looking in 53 suburbs… so we immediately narrowed that list down to where we *actually* wanted to live) and within a few days he had already procured a list of potential properties both on and off market for us to start looking at. The thing we also loved about working with Emilio was because he isn’t a real estate agent, we never felt pushed into anything. He only explored genuine options for us; he wasn’t trying to sell us a house, so even the ones we sent him that we loved the look of, he would say “I saw this and it’s great, but look at the busy main road it’s on!” Or “this is great, but the owners want a ridiculous amount for it and you don’t need to overpay, I will find you something better” (because he had the inside intel that we didn’t). Finding your next home is one of the most stressful things you can do; it should be such an exciting time, but the competition is fierce, the housing prices are skyrocketing, and real estate agents on a whole just feel like they’re out to make a quick sale. We cannot recommend enlisting a Buyer’s Agent, and Emilio from Settlr in particular, more highly. There’s no way we would have found the house we ended up buying without Emilio. No way. From the untold hours he spent researching to find us our dream home, and his genuine kindness and care, are unmatched. We simply cannot thank you enough, Emilio. You went above and beyond for us, and we will never be able to express what this has meant for mum and I. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Had a fantastic experience with Emilio and the whole Setlr team. Made navigating the whole process of purchasing our first property a breeze and really feel like the expertise got us a deal we would never have been able to achieve on our own.
