Claire Didn’t Just Find Us a Home — She Gave Us Hope Let me start by saying I’m not the type of person who leaves reviews, but my experience with Claire and her team was so extraordinary that I feel compelled to share it. For more than five years, we tried to break into the Canberra property market. It drained us, financially, emotionally, mentally. Each attempt ended in disappointment or manipulation. I reached a point where I didn’t trust anyone in the process anymore. I was seconds away from giving up, ready to overpay or settle for something just to make the stress stop. I don’t usually leave reviews but Claire and Sarah’s service is beyond deserving. After two years of failed attempts (five auctions and countless weekends and solicitors’ fees wasted), my partner and I were exhausted and completely ground down. Then Claire came in - well-informed, determined, reassuring and, above all, trustworthy. She was 100% on our side, from the first meeting to the time we left the property post-auction. Sarah is also knowledgeable, highly capable and has a lovely manner. She answered all our pre-engagement enquiries without hesitation, provided paperwork and follow ups. Nothing slips through the cracks. Throughout the process, Claire struck an amazing balance between strength, authority, diligence and kindness. We never felt rushed, even though she must have been pulling her hair out at all our questions and indecisiveness. Meetings were punctual, thorough and strategic. Pre-auction prep was somehow simultaneously detailed yet wide ranging, concise but not brief. Claire talked us through a variety of possible auction situations and how she would address those challenges. She is well-connected, knows the ins and outs of the Canberra property market and navigated game plans with ease. She knew what she was doing for us before she even stepped through the door. We ran a bit late to the auction but were able to do so because we knew Sarah and Claire had taken care of everything. We got waylaid as we were heading to the property and what would have been an unbearably high-pressure situation became just a funny hold up. We turned up as spectators and were able to relax both the night before and on the day. During the auction, Claire commanded the room without being intrusive. We strongly felt she guided the pace, knew all the tricks and evaded them. She is immune to manipulation. She was able to manoeuvre the situation to her (and our) advantage. We could see we were her top priority at all times and she was never cavalier with our money or our interests. In the post-auction blur, she continued to stay by our side, advocating for us through checking the contract, special conditions, bank transfer and signing. She was a buffer between us and the agents, calmly making sure everything was ticked off. Even the small but important details, like dictating account numbers, checking the transfer and sending the receipts to the agent, were taken care of. We didn’t have to think once and we can’t stress enough how valuable it was to have someone take over and guide us - almost like children - through a highly emotional process. If only we could engage Claire and Sarah for the every day; life would be a BREEZE. We 100% recommend them. Considering the price of property and the significant impact it has on your life, their service is absolutely worthwhile. Don’t think, just do it - they were the best decision we made.
